Highline Degree Programs

Highline College is a two and four-year degree granting institution. You can earn a four-year degree, university transfer degree or professional/technical degree or certificate at Highline College.

4-year Degrees

If your goal is to earn a bachelor's degree at Highline, we have 4 excellent Bachelor of Applied Science degrees (beginning Fall 2014):

  • Global Trade & Logistics
  • Cybersecurity & Forensics
  • Youth Development
  • Respiratory Therapy

2+2=Bachelor's Degree
If your goal is to earn a bachelor's degree, Highline is a perfect place to start. With the help of our advisors, you can select courses that are transferable to four-year colleges and universities throughout the United States. With two years of study at Highline plus another two years at a four-year institution, you can earn your bachelor's degree. By starting your education at Highline, you will save money and be prepared to succeed once you transfer.

University transfer degrees:

  • Associate of Arts (AA): Prepares students for majors in the arts or humanities.
  • Associate of Science (AS): Prepares students for science and math-related fields.

Career Training and New skills
Highline offers over 40 professional/technical degrees and certificates. These programs are designed to give you the knowledge and skills to join the workforce. You have two options:

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS): a two-year program
  • Certificate of Completion: a short certificate program

International students who complete an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or a Certificate Program are eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT). Graduates are allowed to work for 12 months after they graduate from their program.
