On-Campus Housing Requirement

Campus View Student Housing is required for all first-quarter international students unless (a) the student qualifies for a specific exemption or (b) there are no available rooms in Campus View. After the first quarter of study, international students may choose to stay in Campus View or consider one of many other options for housing around Highline College. Whether you prefer living with an American family in a homestay, sharing housing with other students, or living on your own in an apartment, there is a perfect match for your lifestyle.

Campus View at Highline Place student housing

Highline Student Housing

Campus View Student Housing is located on campus and is a wonderful place to live for both international and domestic students.

The building, which opened in December 2018, is conveniently located, about a 3-minute walk to classrooms and student service offices at Highline. Campus View offers apartment-style housing with beautiful views of the area at a very reasonable cost. The units are fully furnished and include all utilities, so it is much more affordable to live in Campus View than in an off-campus apartment.

Benefits of living in on-campus housing:
  1. Community Building: Living on campus helps you connect with domestic and international students, allowing you to make friends and build community. Housing staff offers regular activities and programming to enhance your stay.
  2. Campus Connection: Being close to campus resources, including libraries and academic support services, will enhance your academic experience and contribute to your success in your studies. Additionally, living in on-campus housing serves as an extended orientation, helping you become familiar with campus facilities, services, and the broader college community.
  3. Safety and Security: The Campus View building is equipped with security measures to ensure your safety, and Highline’s Public Safety department provides ongoing support both in the building and around the campus.

Campus View Student Housing is required for all first-quarter international students. If you believe you qualify for an exemption, please complete this form.

Read more about the building, view photos, and apply for housing on the Campus View Housing page. Questions about Campus View should be directed to housing@highline.edu.
