* These preferred deadlines are set based on typical processing time for admitted students to obtain a new F-1 visa, which is required for entry into the United States. If you are out of the US but already have a valid F-1 visa, please send a scan of the visa to ISPadmissions@highline.edu. Or, if you do not currently have a valid F-1 visa but you believe that you are able to have a visa appointment and obtain one at least five calendar days prior to our Orientation Start Date, please contact us at ISPadmissions@highline.edu to explain your situation. Look up visa appointment wait times in your city.

** In-status transfer students may be admitted through the third day of the quarter, but class availability at that time is extremely limited. Furthermore, orientation is required for all new international students. For these reasons, we strongly encourage that transfer students submit all application materials at least one week prior to the orientation start date.

By law, international students may not enter the United States more than 30 days prior to the program start date indicated on their I-20. International students who have arranged to live in Campus View Student Housing should plan to arrive in the US on the Preferred Arrival/CV Move-In Date as indicated above.

For additional dates, including tuition deadlines and quarter-end dates, please visit the Registration Department Dates & Deadlines.

Our In-Person Orientation is required for all new international students. New students are sent a detailed calendar 2-3 weeks before the scheduled orientation start date. Learn more about Orientation.
